Dead Fans !!! ... and those who know a Grate ! G.D. Tie-Dye when they see one - as this Shirt here is just Pure Rock & Roll History !!!  Might this be one of the Coolest ! all-time Grateful Dead Shirt designs ??!  Well, that would be quite the tall-order - very-tall !  However, this Shirt design probably indeed stands right up there at the top, or quite possibly alone even - is two ' distinct ' categories :  First, it is without question one of the coolest " Commemorative-Landmark " T-Shirts ever made considering it was designed to specifically celebrate " 25 Years " of G.D. !!! -- just the same way the " Patriot 20 Years So Far " T-Shirt did back in 1985.  And look how that 1985 Summer Tour went ! ... Wow !?!  And second, think about the importance of this 1990 Summer Tour ( and even the entire 1989 Year prior, for that matter ).  This late, yet mightily Magical ! period might possibly go down in Grateful Dead History as one of, if not the very-best era for the Grateful Dead.  Even Bob Weir was quoted just a few years back, saying that he felt the Grateful Dead were in their " Prime " period in 1989-90 ... in fact too - he actually had no-fear in calling it just like it was -- " We Were Hot ! ".  Right on Bobby ! ... and you are right !!  The '89 & '90 Summer Tour Shows specifically were powerhouse-delivery after powerhouse-delivery ... after Powerhouse-Delivery !!! - with the Band at a true high & best - truly a high-point without any question.  Why ?  Well ... you'd have to ask them, but it is quite easy to point to the fact that everyone was right on top of their musical-game - having sheer fun together, and probably enjoying the widespread stardom just a little bit - or, a lot ?  Hey, I mean Why Not ??!  Ace performed like a madman-possessed in '89-'90 - Brent was at his top ... period. -  Phil was back to strokin' the Bass like a Lead Guitar ! at times, and the Drummers ! were so tight it was obscene - the Two-Headed Beast ! in action ... Live !!  And last but naturally not last, this was clearly Garcia's resurgence ! - and his fiery playing was flat-out infectious !  Garcia came very-close to the edge in August '86, and it was clearly evident that it all really meant a lot to him - and the man dug deep to Completely ! deliver in all of '89 through the loss of Brent in July '90.  However, it being Jerry & all ... he kind of made it look easy ?!?  But ... there's really no way that Power, Passion & Attack could come easy for anyone - but, Garcia willed it to happen ... because he wanted it.  For himself, for the rest of the Boys, for the extended G.D. Family, and probably most importantly to him ... for the Fans !!  Some of Garcia's Boss / Roland fused & Midi-Guitar work equaled arguably some of his absolute best live creations of all-time .  So without any further adieu, this amazing 1990 " Twenty-Five Years " Dye just about says it all.  Simply a killer vintage tee, that Definitely ! makes more than a statement.  Do you have what it takes to really Rock ! this one right ? ... You-Bet ! you do.  Twenty-Five Years of G.D. !!!  Enjoy !!!!!
