2004 Ford Escape

2004 Ford Escape. The car is currently not inspected because it needs some rusted areas fixed. My garage guy said 0. See the pics, maybe you can fix it cheaper yourself or maybe your state doesn't require inspection. It has passed emission inspection. Besides the rust underneath as pictured there was rust around the back wheels that I fixed but is just starting to come back.I changed the engine a few years ago because it had a spun bearing. The current engine has about 110,000 miles. It has a Jasper rebuilt transmission that has about 50,000 miles on it. The engine overheated last week and coolant had to be added. It came back from the 50 mile trip and a little more coolant had to be added. I put a container of Barr's Stop Leak and now it seems OK but I am going to take it on another longer trip and see what happens. I drove it about 15 miles yesterday with no problems and then let it idle for 20 minutes. I will update ad with results. This truck has great Air Conditioning. The interior is good with no rips in the seats. The door sills are good with no rust. It drives OK. Comes with the old engine if you want it, the head is still good on it. I will start the price at 0, the transmission is probably worth that. Please pay with cash at pickup. We will meet at the bank, look at vehicle, deposit money, then go to Notary and change the title.
